CONTINUOUS STERILIZER AND COOLER FOR ROTAN TINS MODEL GB-X 175

  Technical description

 

The machine is composed of four overlapping sections with horizontal ways.

The three upper sections are used for sterilization while the inferior one is for the cooling process.

The upper section of the machine and his lateral parts are closed with a inox cap AISI 304 completely removing.

The steam distribution of the steam into the cooker section.

The rotation of the tin is alternate in every section obtain the best distribution of warmth in the tin and to exploit at the best the surface of thermic exchange between the tin and the external surrounding.

The speed of alternate rotation doesn't depend on the speed of tin entrance into the sterilizer. This allows to have a very soft working procedure of product in the metal recipient and, at the same time, a drastic reduction of sterilization times, so it's possible to make better the exposition of the tin to the sterilization temperature.

The inferior course, responsible for the cooling process, is covered by a net inox system for the distribution of water. This is pumped on the tins through some nebulizer nozzles that divide it giving a continuous exposition of the tins to cooling, avoiding the danger of died zones.

The water can be recycled for other working process.

The cooling water, before being introduced into the net nozzles, must be filtered. The tin rotation will be done by motorized rolls, in inox AISI 304 with regolable speed, it is made by four motoriductor 2.0 HP.

The control and the regulation of temperature is realized by feeler PT 100 for the survey in the sterilization chamber; the signal is sent to a pneumatic regulating valve, air-open model, that is on the sterilization chamber of the machine.

The sterilizer has other safety devices such as:

  • N° 5 controllers of the correct position of the tins on the four sections.

  • Alarm for low pressure compressed air.

  • N° 7 alarms thermic release of all the machine motors.

  • Alarm when the transfer shovel for the tins of second and third sector doesn't work .

  • Alarm for low temperature.

  • N° 2 alarms for the breaking of the main chain.

  • Alarm for the tins slot at the clearance.

  • N° 2 alarms for a not correct passing of the tins through the four sections.

All these devices both cause the immediate stop of machine And the warning signal on the electric cabin.

All the regulation and control instruments of the machine are installed on a particular electric cabin that also has all the safety devices and alarms for the correct working of the plant.

The feeding of the tins takes place for a conveyor trapezoid belt, set in motion by a motorvariator 0,5 HP, that has a pneumatic display synchronized with the main chain. The release of tins takes place with the same conveior belt actioned by a motovariator 5.0 HP, too.

The main chains has an high breaking load and they are balanced, those for the moving of the rollers are a special model with fixed and dimostable tongues with at their end a delrin ferrule for the rotation of the piston pin of the roller.

The chains for the rotation of the roller are reinforced with high breaking load and with full rollers.

The tension of the main chains is made automatically by four hydraulic cylinders, helped by a cabin that assures the right pressure.

The carrying structure of the sterilizzer-cooler is built with structural tee steel of carbon treated with antirust and aluminium, while the lids, the lateral sealings, the round rollers and the storage pools of cooling water are of inox steel.
